Bathurst Uniting Church will be holding a number of activities during this season of Lent leading up to Easter.
- Shrove Tuesday – Pancake picnic: Kicking off Lent with the Feast before the Fast!
- 13th February @ 5:45pm for 6:00pm start in Peace Park.
- Bring something to share – and a sense of humour for pancake making!
- Ash Wednesday – Service of Ashes: Launching the season of Lent with a special service of reflection.
- 14th February @ 7:00pm in the Church.
- Lenten Studies
- A great way to deepen our faith and fellowship, as we journey towards Easter, is to engage in study, prayer and reflection together through a 6 week Lenten Study Group.
- A number of groups will be running this year, at different times and venues.
- Starting in the week beginning Monday, 19th February.
- We will be exploring readings from Mark’s Gospel, using the study ‘Journeying with Jesus’ by Robert Bos.
- All are welcome and encouraged to join a group.
