After a very successful trial of the homeless shelter in winter 2018 the Bathurst Uniting Safe Shelter (USS) was established. The shelter will run for five months from 13th May to 14th October, with the doors opening for admissions from 5:30pm – 7:30pm.
USS offers safe and warm accommodation to homeless men during the cold winter months in Bathurst. The Church is working hard to add a new bathroom with shower amenities.
Building on the great community support that the project enjoyed last year we are once again working with lots of other individuals and agencies and the support has been fantastic.

We take this opportunity to thank all those businesses that have contributed to setting up of this space by offering discounts of their goods and services. It has been a true community effort.
